The Terrasse des rames
This is how the part of the tow path between the Ledien bridge and the rue Louandre was called. It was planted with trees and served as a place of recreation for the workers of the manufacture. On stilts and just along the terrace was the mill Van Robais, it worked for the manufacture of sheets and it also served to wash with wool and this, until the closing of the workshops.
