Albert Carette (rue):Albert Carette was born in 1841, lawyer, journalist and professor of geography. Local councillor in 1874, mayor of the city from 1878 till 1881. It is at the origin of the installation of girls' school in Duchesne de Lamotte's mansion (become then the school of the Pillory), the purchase by the city of the property of Emonville to make a museum and of a plan of arrangement and extension of the city. Albert Carette lived in the beautiful mansion 11 kick reporters in whom he received personally the diplomat Ferdinand de Lesseps. Become a judge in the court of Montreuil on Sea, he dies in 1908.
