Nestor Tellier, known as Le Tellier, was a municipal councilor who was born in Abbeville in 1816. He operated the great rope mills of the Faubourg Rouvroy and had built for his workmen in the street "aux ainettes" houses forming a city that today bears his name. He died in Abbeville in 1891.
